Paying with Cardano

CrowdTime accepts ADA and USDCx for bot subscriptions. Both use your connected Cardano wallet.

Requirements

• Cardano wallet connected to CrowdTime
• For ADA payments: sufficient ADA in the wallet (plus enough for transaction fees, typically < 0.2 ADA)
• For USDCx payments: sufficient USDCx token balance, plus at least ~2 ADA to cover the Cardano min-UTxO requirement
• Sufficient balance in the exchange to cover the initial transactions

Payment Steps

New Bot

1. Click New Bot on the Bots page.
2. Configure your bot settings.
3. Click Create Bot — a payment dialog will appear.
4. Select your preferred currency: ADA or USDCx.
5. Review the payment summary — for USDCx this will show the token amount and the ~2 ADA min-UTxO that will also be sent.
6. Click Pay — your wallet extension will open and prompt you to confirm the transaction.
7. Approve the transaction in your wallet.
8. Wait for confirmation (1–3 minutes). The bot will activate automatically.

Renewing a Bot

1. On the Bots page, find the expired or nearly-expired bot.
2. Click Renew.
3. The payment dialog appears — follow steps 4–8 above.

Troubleshooting Payments

Transaction not confirming

• Check the wallet transaction history. If the transaction appears as pending, wait a few more minutes.
• Network congestion can occasionally delay confirmations.

Bot not created after payment

• Wait at least 5 minutes for on-chain confirmation.
• Refresh the Bots page.
• Open a ticket in our Discord server.

Insufficient funds error

• For ADA: make sure your wallet has enough ADA for both the subscription fee and the Cardano network transaction fee.
• For USDCx: make sure you have enough USDCx and at least ~2 ADA for the min-UTxO requirement.

Insufficient token balance

• Your wallet does not hold enough ADA or USDCx to cover the subscription fee. Top up your ADA or USDCx balance and try again.

Blockfrost unavailable, please retry

• CrowdTime uses Blockfrost to verify on-chain payments. If this error appears, wait a moment and refresh — the payment may already be confirmed and will resolve automatically.
