Buy the Dip

The Buy the Dip strategy only buys — it never places sell orders. Each time the price drops below your configured percentage (or more), the bot purchases more of the asset.

How It Works

1. The bot records the price on each 2-minute cycle.
2. If the price has dropped by % Change or more → Buy Volume units.
3. Sell orders are never placed by this bot — selling is managed manually on the exchange.

When to Use It

Use Buy the Dip when you want to accumulate more of an asset over time, averaging down your cost basis during price declines. This is an accumulation strategy, not a profit-taking strategy.

Configuration Tips

Parameter	Guidance
% Change	Higher values mean the price must drop more before a buy is triggered. A lower value buys more frequently on smaller dips.
Volume	The amount purchased per dip.

TIP

Ensure your exchange account has sufficient quote currency (e.g. USDT) to fund repeated purchases.
