Sell the Hill

The Sell the Hill strategy only sells — it never places buy orders. Each time the price rises by your configured percentage (or more), the bot sells a portion of the asset.

How It Works

1. The bot records the price on each 2-minute cycle.
2. If the price has risen by % Change (or more)→ Sell Volume units.
3. Buy orders are never placed by this bot.

When to Use It

Use Sell the Hill when you hold a position and want to systematically take profits as the price rises, without having to watch the market manually.

Configuration Tips

Parameter	Guidance
% Change	Higher values let the price run further before selling. Lower values take profits on smaller moves.
Volume	The amount sold per rally. Make sure your exchange balance holds at least this amount.

TIP

Ensure your exchange account holds sufficient base asset (e.g. ADA) to fund repeated sell orders.

WARNING

This strategy reduces your position over time. Once you have sold your holdings it will have nothing left to sell.
